With Cinco de Mayo only 4 days away, it's time to break out your maracas, margaritas and sombreros! Every year, May 5 is devoted to celebrating Mexican culture. Historically, it celebrates Mexico's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862 and has evolved into an annual celebration especially within Mexican-American populations in the US. In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we've collected a few tips that you can use to throw your very own fiesta!

1. Sample Sauces: Since Mexican culture is popular for its sauces, offer guests a variety of sauces and salsas to try. Set up a table with bowls of tortilla chips and then arrange each of the sauces around the bowls. Don't forget to label your sauces so guests know what they're trying!
2. It's All About the Tacos: Consider including a station where guests can make their own tacos for a simple yet creative DIY main course. Include toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, beans, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Also, consider including a signature taco dip for those who want the same delicious taco taste with their chips!
